Lalor North Primary School is fortunate to have a wonderful library that is used by all students across the school. The open-planned and flexible learning space provides opportunities for students to engage with a wide and rich variety of fiction and nonfiction books. All classes have a library session each week with their teacher in which they listen to stories, talk about books, have quiet reading time and the opportunity to browse and borrow from the up-to-date library collection of books.
Our library is well stocked and has a beautiful selection of First Nation and Bilingual books for borrowing that represent many of our student’s language backgrounds.
Book Week is an exciting annual literary celebration at Lalor North Primary School to promote literature and literacy in our school. We also have a fabulous whole school Book Week Dress Up Parade.
