As Principal, I am dedicated to leading a school that prioritises evidence based practice, equity in education, and a relentless focus on quality teaching and learning. Our staff are dynamic, passionate and highly skilled educators who plan and work collaboratively to deliver explicit teaching, foster deep thinking, and nurture a love of learning. We work as a collective to ensure that our students receive an education that is rigorous, engaging, and responsive to their individual needs.

My educational philosophy is based on a strong belief that learning needs to be student centred with students as equal partners in the learning process. I believe students should be active participants in their education—curious, reflective, and empowered. I am passionate about educating the whole child, nurturing academic success alongside personal development. At Lalor North, we recognise and celebrate the diversity of every learner, and we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all students can thrive. I embrace the idea that ‘Learning is the discovery that something is possible’ and that it is strongly entwined with my belief that teachers who love teaching……. teach children to love learning.

One of the distinctive strengths of our school is our commitment to Bilingual Education. We proudly offer a Standard Curriculum Program and two Bilingual Programs in Greek and Macedonian, where the full Victorian Curriculum 2.0 is delivered through language. This approach not only strengthens cognitive and linguistic development, but also fosters cultural connection and global citizenship.
