Parent Helpers

Parent Helpers

A home-school partnership is encouraged and valued at Lalor North Primary School and we are committed to building strong partnership with our parent community. There are many possibilities for parent involvement, creating a greater sense of community and improving links between home and school. Our parents’ involvement in our school helps our children achieve the best possible learning outcomes. Parents are encouraged to participate in our Lalor North Primary School life, both formally and informally, through school councils, attending important school events, fundraising and volunteering in the classroom.

Working as a classroom helper is a fantastic way to be involved in the school. Classroom helpers are involved in all sorts of tasks throughout the year. If you are interested in becoming a classroom helper please speak to your child’s teacher.

All classroom helpers require a Working with Children check; all the details are available through the Working with Children website: http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/
